ever heard of yakuza moon by shoko tendo?

just completed the book. it's a story about Shoko Tendo, who's born a yakuza's daughter.
yakuza refers to a gangster chief.

it talks about how she plunged into a world of sex and drugs and the little bits and pieces of her love life.

if you ever feel that life's unfair, just gotta tell yourself you're fortunate because somewhere out there in this world, there's someone who've been through alot worse than you.

i admire her determination to get through those dark days. how she cope with the loss of her mum, one whom she's very close to. her dad whom she forgave after all that he had done. also, maybe the part on how she's been forced to be a sex slave to one whom she doesnt love just to pay off her dad's debts. Taka's love for her touched me. it's sad to know that good things doesn't end the way it's supposed to. Taka and her didnt get together in the end because she dont want to be a burden to him. Taka got married eventually and i guess he still cares for Shoko secretly.


i think the way they end it is kind of -----.
Shoko hung up the call and deleted Taka's number. i thought if someone really mean so much to you, you'll prolly still remember his number no matter what ya? hah

but hmm. who knows uh?!


im prolly going for a short get away again.
