AFI // The Leaving Song
time flies eh..?
it's Thursday. After this comes Friday. i'm having serious thoughts on changing my studies to part time. but my sister is very against it. i had an interview at Bank of Tokyo just now and i'm quite sure they have decided to employ me. but one side of me hope i don't get the job. there's some problem with me i suppose. i got the starhub and national health group job. but i rejected both. have this feeling i'll be back to that ulu ubi in the end. Evon gonna give birth soon and im sure workload gonna be very heavy for the rest. i shouldn't complain about the long working hours and tedious workload. should head back to help out ya? though i'm always complaining about work, i gotta admit i learn alot from this job. on certain days, i'll be doing telemarketing. sometimes enrolment, admin, cashier-duties, pract, pri queue, etc. used to grumble about life being unfair. because i started working when i'm in sec 2, when the rest of my peers are enjoying life away. First it was in the FnB sector. When i got into college, i went into customer service, all the way till now. I miss my colleagues in Samsung. especially Chris. He always help me out when i got into trouble.
anyway, the point is, degree is just a piece of paper that serve as a stepping stone. so if i were to change my studies to part time, it is something like accumulating experience and getting a cert. She asked me what i see myself as five years down the road. five years seem long. but it ain't exactly that long. 5years ago, i was in sec four. prolly asleep at this time, will be up a few hours later for holiday remedial lessons. now, i'm blogging in front of the com, thinking about going out for a booze or short spin around town. 5years later. what would be on my mind? money?
or will it still be -
we want to keep things simple. but how simple is simple?
