just finished watching Transformers 2 (i know im very outdated).

dont have the energy to carry on with UP. will watch tomorrow if i have the time.

very amazed with the graphics and stuff. wonders of technology. able to create and capture all the small details.

and.....

i watched TVBS news segment on taiwan typhoon yesterday. those clips and music seriously made you tear. especially the one on Xiaolin. Xiaolin is a small village in taiwan. over the years, youngsters left their village to work in mainland. so those who stayed on are the eldery. when the mudslide came, everyone was buried.. Alive. the mud is estimated to be 5 storey high! can you imagine how horrible it is?! tthen there's groups of young people returning to the village and the sight of what's left behind made them very emotional.

imagine a lively village they used to live in being reduced to a piece of land with no vegetation, only quicksand all around. and their ancestors/family members are buried under the land they are standing. i saw this particular part where one of them shouted for her famile members and she was saying she used to have to very big family, but now, she's the only survivor.

i dont know if it's the way in which their local media bring across this to their people, it gives you the kind of -if-everything-permits, i-would-want-to-go-over-and-see-if-there's-anything-i-can -do-to -help-kind of feeling. but i think if were to tell my mum that, she will think im crazy.

and..........

their government actually asked many of the people from other village to evacuate because of anotehr possible mudslide. but, the eldery has the kind of 'since we might die any moment, might as well die in our village' mindset.

so many sad things happened.

alittle dorky to say this,

but, liverpool lost! what is this lah! lost to tottenham! i know tottenham seems strong this season, BUT i didnt expect us to lose. yesterday Arsenal managed to whacked Everton 6-1, Chelsea smoke their way through with a last min goal by Drogba and Man U just won Birmingham (expected). BUT WE LOST!
