life is pretty much the same.
lessons over the weekend. totally drained me out. cause i had class till ten on Sat, followed by 8.30am class today. BUT, the lesson yesterday was AWESOME.

he's a British ( i think)
what's special about his class is, instead of focusing on all the endless theory, he actually explained everything to us using 'soccer terms'

yes. soccer!
he's a fan of Chelsea ; condemn man utd most of the time.
and we're doing a case study on rape.

so he told us, his student conducted this survey few years ago. and from her findings, she concluded that 75% of the females in Britain were raped before.
i mean, after hearing such things you'll probably be thinking 'wth! so many horny rods'
BUT! there's definition problem.
to her, rape is
1) having pre-marital sex.
2) sex when you actually dont feel like doing it.

he went on to comment.

'in fact, Britain is a very safe place for females. cause men in Britain are only interested beer and soccer. if rape is about having sex when you dont feel like it, i suppose all men in Britain are brutally rape. sometimes while we are getting ready for the big match in front of the tv set, your wife goes upstairs, started calling out for you. when you rejected it, citing the match as an excuse, she starts grumbling on how bad a husband you are, how much she regretted marrying you. so you have got no choice but to give her few minutes of your time'

HAHAHAHAHA!

and there's the mind vs conscious problem.

'when you met this particular woman, tall, elegant, with a hot body. your mind starts to tell you, wont it be good if she's my wife. on second thought, you tell yourself, NO! i cant do it. she's my best friend's wife'

and he got lost while wondering around school. so he ran around cause he's pretty late.
he said "GOSH! i think i ran more than what Berbatov did for the whole season'

HAHAHAH

okay. what i'm trying to say is, we need more lecturers like this!

talking about how 'less is more' in Finland's education system.
pretty interesting.
and student actually stay in the same college throughout.
of course there's downsides like, the people whom you get to meet are limited to those in school.
but i suppose it's quite a nice thing to have teachers who know you very well, understands you. and i will be more than happy to be a teacher there. cause everyone is like your kid and there's going to be a very strong bond between them and you. maybe many years down the road, you see them on the walking on the streets with their wife and kids, then they go like 'hey! say hello to SQ HO! she's a great teacher'
